All items are durable and handmade, however care should be taken with their use and upkeep to ensure they retain their quality.
I recommend to handwash only as this will increase the longevity of your pots.
They are all dishwasher friendly, however the high temperature and strong alkaline cleaning products within a dishwasher will increase the rate at which your product may dull in colour. Any cracks made during use will also allow water into the clay body, which is less of a cleanliness issue and more of a structural integrity issue.
Can be used in microwave if not dishwashed, due to the increased risk of water in the body.
If putting your pots in the oven, ensure they go in when the oven is cold to prevent cracking.
If you have cooked food in a pot and want to reheat it, please decant to a glass or metal oven tray. Reheating a half full pottery oven dish will cause the clay to heat unevenly and can lead to cracking.
Jewellery: The connection for jewellery is made of nichrome or kanthal wire, and can become brittle over time. The necklaces are 925 stirling silver which has been oxidised. If you find the finish has dulled over time, please get in contact and I can re-oxidise them.
